2008/1/23 Britney Spears's Obituary Is Prepared ?!Says US magazine: Yes, Associate Press has pre-written an obituary notice for this 26-year old girl, mother of two little boys, the hotties idol at the end of 20th century, when she is in bad need of help and on the edge of going crazy and commiting suiside. Yes, they claimed that of course they didn't want her to die, but what's ridiculous is that they prepared a obituary for a live person, instead of helping her and her family. What an impressive way to prove their nice wishes! The whole world is witnessing Britney going down. She herself knows that too, but obviously she can't get through it all by herself. What media has contribute is pushing her even harder to a pathetic situation by exposing this poor little girl's messy personal life to public with the intention of telling the world that the former sweetheart of America has become a crazy slut. They are crazy for Britney, because no matter her career is in big success or faliure, they can always make good money as long as they put their cameras on her. Seems it never occured to these people that Britney Spears is a human being, who has feelings, and her two little boys not only has lost a family, but is also losing their mother, because their mother is driven crazy, because the media wants to see their mother die! Beautiful and talented, Britney Spears made a legend in the entertaiment industry at a very young age. She doesn't deserve this misery. We could have her back, or lose her forever, all depend on people's attitude, to save her, or to kill her. Instead of an obituary, why there isn't a "cheer up, Britney!" notice? 2008/1/11 Thailand - The AnimalsExcept what I saw in the zoo in Nong Nooch (a big park in pattaya), there were the following animals that impressed me.
The Dogs:
In pattaya, you can see dogs everywhere, and they are all lying. I am not exaggerating, ALL~ of them, lying under trees, in front of shopping malls, on the streets.... I never seen any walking dogs in pattaya. Sometimes I almost stepped on them, as they were lying in the shadow and could be barely noticed. Dogs in bangkok seemed more indoor and active. The only lying dog I saw on street was a dead one :(
i am not dead, I am taking an nap.
The Cat:
I always love cats. It was exciting to find this cute cat greeting us in an intimate way in Wat Phra Kaeo (Emerald Buddha) in Bangkok. The cutey appeared from no where, and walked around me with its body rubing against me, so I sit down and stroked it. The cat seemed enjoying my stroking, and started to clean itself as you saw in the following picture, and looked at me sometimes as it understood what I was talking.
I live in the wat, I must keep clean all the time. The Monkey:
I saw this monkey in the zoo in Nong Nooch. It was the coolest monkey I had ever seen. He acted like a gangleader. No matter how many people were around him, taking pics, pointing at him, discussing, laughing, he kept the same cold indifferent and disdainful eyesight, and ate banana all the time. He even put banana peels into a small plastic bag beside. I firmly believed that he knew the deal, and he had his own thoughts about these hairless two-leg creatures around him.
What's UP?!
The Elephants:
The trip in Thailand would be imperfect without visiting elephant. They are huge, but adorable. With the lips go upwards at the conor, and the canthus go downwards, it looks like that they are smiling. Though I hate human beings manipulating animals to make money, I coudn't help to make some contribution to this industry by riding elephant and watching elephant show in Nong Nooch. They are so~~~ cute and docile. I fell in love with them just by watching them walking by. They showed sufficient tolenrance and friendliness to we noisy tiny human beings crowed in that beautiful park. They carried one batch of tourists after another around, stopped to let them taking pictures, upheld their trunks to reach tourists on overpasses to say hello... The elephant show was even more amazing, they shot footballs, basketball, clockwise swung their long strong trunks with music, put their large columnar legs on some brave tourists, and massaged them gently. There were four rounds of elephant show everyday in the park Nong Nooch, each one lasted almost one hour. On my way leaving the park, I saw the elephant herds going back home in the afterglow, looking tired. I felt sad. They were such docile animals, never harm human beings, but were forced by human beings to perform every day. God knows how much they suffered to learn to shoot basketballs and stand up on their back legs... and most of them were female and baby elephants.
The starting pose
Instead of shooting, I will make full use of my physical advantage and put the ball in it.
Now this is a real shoot! 3 points! Yeah~!
Hee~~~ I can massage, traditional Thai massage (I do think the elephant is smiling)
Two silly slipper girls on my back, wuf..... look out your slippers!
Hey, don't grasp my trunk so tight, you wuss!!
2008/1/3 Thailand - The LanguageThe Thai characters are arts. Thus, for such a person who was born lacking of painting nerve as me, either recognizing or writing them is difficult. A friend taught me how to say "thank you", "hello" and "how much" in Thai, but I didn't use any of them. If I can not say it a hundred percent correctly, I would rather shut up. This is another issue I have. The following is an example of their art. Totally clueless about these symbols.
2008/1/1 Siam! Siam! Happy New Year!I celebrated this New Year's Eve at Kao San Road, one of the busiest roads in Bangkok. It was exciting. People from all around the world gathered in that narrow street, drinking, eating, laughing, shouting, dancing, taking picture...
In the past 7 days, I traveled to two cities in Thailand: Pattaya, a beach city, and Bangkok, the Capital. In Pattaya, I tried parasailing, diving, traditional Thai massage, elephant riding, watched one of the most famous lady boys show – The Tiffany Show, and almost drowned in a very shallow sea (silly~~).
Bangkok provides totally different experiences. There were very poor but famous bazaars, top-notch shopping malls, extraordinary royal palace, and countless Buddha temples.
I would like to share the fun I had with you in my next posts, as an apology for not managed to say "Happy New Year" earlier and as a Thank You for all the happiness and inspirations you brought me in the past year. |
